Meet Luffa!
A curious and naive little squash whose roots (er, vines?) began in Veggie Village. Bored of the monotony of life in Veggie Village, and against the warnings of fellow villagers, he boldly decides to venture out and explore the rest of Botanika.

Cornman
A rambunctious explorer dressed as a scarecrow to throw off potential predators, because corn on the cob is too tempting for some. Cornman and Luffa first meet when he stumbles upon Luffa defenseless and up against a gang of angry poison dart frogs. Using his tactical prowess and skill with the scythe, Cornman fends off the attackers, and decides to explore alongside Luffa.
